Alison Brown has over 10 years of experience in renewable energy. She has worked with solar, battery, electric vehicle, fuel cell and smart grid technologies on projects ranging from remote, off-grid mountain cabins to industrial microgrids. In 2016, Alison founded Flux Energy Systems to simplify the design and installation of alternative energy projects.
Alison holds a B.A. in Physics from Middlebury College and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She was a recipient of the 2009 Transatlantic Renewable Energy Fellowship.
Mufaddal Hussain has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from The University of Delaware with a concentration in Sustainable Energy Technology. For his capstone design project, Mufaddal led a team of four engineers in the design, build and testing of a hydrogen powered generator. The Mechanical Engineering Department recognized his team with an award for the best working prototype. After graduation, Mufaddal moved to California to pursue a career in the solar industry. He has two years experience designing high quality photovoltaic systems for residential, commercial and utility-scale projects.
Mufaddal’s enthusiasm for renewable energy extends beyond his work. In his spare time, he educates his community about clean energy technology. His goal is to be a driving force in paving the future of clean energy technology.
Carol Cabbiness has over 15 years of Project Management experience in construction and facility management, operations development, and product commercialization. In addition to leading commercial solar projects of 1 MW and greater, she has experience leading the successful development and commercialization of electronic interconnection, semiconductor test and handling products at 3M.
Carol has recent NABCEP training from Imagine Solar, a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and an EMBA from The Red McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
Jaydeep 'JD' Laljani has 2 years of prior experience in the clean energy business. He has worked in a variety of roles in grid modernization, C&I solar, energy efficiency, and clean-tech investing. During his time at Business School he was selected as a Net Impact Energy Scholar for his focus and passion for the clean energy and mobility businesses. Prior to the clean energy business he has experience running Business Development in the International Trade Business in Asia, and doing Technical sales for a large Industrial Components MNC.
JD holds a B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson school of Business.
